Fragments, Secret Bases & Anomalies
Collect fragments to discover hidden bases and anomalies.
Fragments are mysterious data shards that, when combined, reveal the coordinates of secret ancient bases loaded with treasures.
Fragment Types
- Unknown Fragments: Encrypted data blocks found in missions, events, and NPC drops. These must be converted into Symbols in the Portal view.
- Fragment Symbols: Decrypted partial coordinates. You need 6 unique symbols to form a complete address.
Secret Bases
When you combine 6 Fragment Symbols, you discover the location of a Secret Base.
- Hidden Location: Secret Bases are protected by advanced shields fields and cannot be attacked on the Galaxy Map. They can only be accessed by manually dialing the address in the Portal.
- Massive Rewards: successfully attacking a Secret Base yields huge amounts of Resources, Credits, and rare items like Core Shards and Catalyst Dust.
- Time Limit: Once occupied, a Secret Base address is rotated.
Subspace Anomalies
Mysterious spatial distortions that occasionally appear in the Portal Network.
- 6-Symbol Address: Anomalies use a 6-symbol portal address.
- Rally Only: By design, these targets require a massive coordinated force. They cannot be attacked by a single player and must be engaged using an Alliance Portal Rally.
